課程概述

This semester, the English Composition II course will continue to develop students' skills in writing academic essays. In particular, students will be further introduced to the strategies that are essential in acdemic writing: ways to understand others' opinions and develop self opinion in response to writing audience and fit in writing purposes. 

課程目標
 By the end of this course, students will be able to develop independent writing skills through the step-by-step writing process strategies. Students will also compose genres of writing when different topics are provided.

 Students need to come to class on weekly basis. Good learning attitudes mainly include arriving classes on time and engage actively in various activities.

 Writing assignments

 Students will compose four writing assignments based on the writing topics of the textbook.

 Student-led writing session

 Students will sign up on and lead one writing session based on one textbook chapter.
